Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) has made announcement to launch an all-new generation of the Elantra under the Inokom brand in early 2012 (February at the latest). The long-awaited sedan which will be assembled at the Inokom plant in Kedah under licence from Hyundai will be available with 1.6-litre Gamma and 1.8-litre Nu 4-cylinder petrol engines, both with Hyundai’s own 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Elantra’s stunning sporty silhouette and posh interior, combined with Hyundai’s increasing image of quality, have earned its second consecutive ALG Residual Value Awards.
